What Is Endobloc T Kit?

Endobloc T Kit is a combination medicine formulated to manage pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition where the blood pressure in the arteries supplying the lungs is abnormally high. It contains:

• Ambrisentan (5 mg) – an endothelin receptor antagonist that blocks the effects of endothelin, a chemical that constricts blood vessels.

• Tadalafil (20 mg) – a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor that relaxes smooth muscle cells in the blood vessel walls, allowing improved blood flow.

Combined, these two agents help reduce pulmonary vascular resistance, increase oxygen delivery, and improve symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, and reduced exercise tolerance. They also help delay progression of PAH when used as part of a prescribed treatment strategy.

How This Medicine Works

Ambrisentan

Ambrisentan blocks endothelin receptors that cause tightening (vasoconstriction) of blood vessel walls in the lungs. By blocking endothelin, it allows blood vessels to relax and widen, reducing pulmonary blood pressure.

Tadalafil

Tadalafil inhibits phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5), which increases levels of cyclic GMP in vascular smooth muscle cells. This action causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), particularly in the pulmonary circulation, helping to improve blood flow and reduce cardiac workload.

Together, they support better pulmonary circulation and improve patient ability to engage in daily activities.

Indications

Endobloc T Kit is indicated for:

• Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH)

• Improvement of exercise capacity
